About me

So I guess I have to write a story about myself. Well anyways, my name is Luan however I go by Tay so it would be easier for people to say my name. I was born in Phoenix, Arizona on February 1997 to 2 Vietnamese parent. As you may have guessed it, I am Vietnamese.

Growing up, I would watch my dad paint then my siblings started to do the same thing. They were amazing at this stuff and I was jealous that I did not have this talent. I guess when I started photography was when my father bought me a camera to use on a vacation to Vietnam and I fell in love with the camera. I was very amateur at this and did not know nor understand what ISO or Aperture means. Everything was just auto until I took a college class in digital photography. I think without my professor, I would not made this far. Shout out to Chris Colville (Sorry I never finish your class)

Fast forward to 2019, I started to become obsess with photography however my parents never saw it as a profession. I would ask all of my friends if I can do a portrait shoot with them. Most of them agreed and somehow my photo ended up on the cover of Rapporteur. I honestly wish I advertise myself in that magazine. Now it is a new year and I need to find a job which I could not. I chose photography instead knowing I have a ton of friends that will support me along the way.

Anyways, now I am all up on course about how I became a photographer.

For my customers, I get it that most of you are camera shy, I am a introvert so I keep my distance. Pretend I am never here however I do make jokes to get you to smile because I want this to become a memory for you to keep forever.
